I got a couple letters like this when I was younger because I would do the same thing, eventually when My parents kept patting me on the back and telling the teachers to fuck themselves. They stopped. A glimpse at 1994 me from a class made time capsule:

My parents would have said "How long is a kilometer?" Then read the part where he admitted he was wrong and laughed at it then told me NOT to attend the detention.
